Tonight we had a trip to the bat cave (no, not that one), and a night safari planned which was going to push our dinner back to at least past 9pm. For most of us this just wasn't going to work, so Jonah had the brilliant idea of eating at the roadside stand outside where we were going to watch the bats. Thank you Jonah! We let Tippie and Pimmie pick the food, and surprise us. We were not disappointed. We ordered two of pretty much everything. There were whole fried fish, steam fish, leaves with a sort of seafood custard inside, pork ribs, and some soup. We watched three women work like machines prepping and cooking for our "feast"! Chef informed them we were all in culinary school & I think they wanted to impress us. They did that and more. We ate like kings. The pictures do not do this meal justice. One of the best, if not the best so far!
